CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

DANIEL

I didn't want to pull away but I knew she needed a shower. I needed a shower and I needed her again. Kill two birds with one stone so I pulled away from her lips and took a hold of both her hands and pulled her up leading her through to my ensuite. I opened the door to the shower and pressed the button for the water, once it was warm enough I led her with me and did something different with her. I wasn't rough. It wasn't raw. It was something new, something I had never done with anyone else and it scared the shit out of me but refreshed me at the same time. I liked the slower pace, I liked how she wrapped her legs around my waist and her hands ran through my hair. I liked how even though we were both still hungry for one another the slowness felt right, it felt real. It was unlike anything else I had ever experienced. What was even more strange was the fact that once we were done in the shower I wrapped her in a towel, did the same to myself and then I asked her to stay. I've never asked them to stay before. Fuck them and then leave them, that was always my motto and I lived my life by that motto. I was never embarrassed by it, I knew it was right for me, it was always the right thing for me to do until now. Now it doesn't feel right at all, the thought of throwing her out it feels wrong instead. I know that Beth Is special. I couldn't do that to Beth, not any more where I'm learning so much about her and she's inpregnanting herself into my head, my sole. I didn't want to do that to her like I did with all the rest and so I asked her to stay. I asked her what pizza she liked and I ordered it in. The pizza arrives and we both settle down on my sofa, its almost like we are an old married couple and I laugh at the thought. I laugh at what my father would think and say to me. "What's so funny?" She asks me and I laugh even harder. She's so cute when she looks angry, she looks even better when she laughs. "I was just thinking." She looks hurt for a moment and that's the last thing I want to do unless we are playing of course. "Anyone would think we were a married couple the way we are sat here eating with the T.V on. My father would love it." "Why?" "Because that's all he keeps going on about." She looks at me like I've just given her the best thing in the world. "Now why are you looking at me like that for?" "Because that's the most you've ever told me about yourself." We both laugh this time and I have to force yourself to sound serious.
